Paperwork Needed

To apply for a loan, you will have to provide the lender with detailed documentation of your financial history. The lender will request a credit report from a credit agency and will verify the information provided in your loan application. Be prepared to provide:

  • Driver’s License or current photo id
  • Most recent 30 days paystubs
  • Most recent 2 months of asset documentation (bank statements, retirement, etc.)
  • Most recent 2 years W-2 withholding forms or 1099’s for the self-employed
  • Most recent 2 years filed Federal Tax Return
  • Residential Sales Contract
Other forms that may be required if applicable:
  • Bankruptcy paperwork and discharge papers if within 5 years
  • Child support agreement and/or Divorce Decree
  • Year-to-Date Profit and Loss for self-employed
